Captain Jerry Whitfield and co-first mates Grant and Claire Burwash are spending the year sailing on a 42 foot sloop rigged Elan sailboat, Osprey. We will be leaving from Anacortes, WA to Mexico's Pacific Coast and back starting September 2009. This blog is being created as a place to share our thoughts, pictures, experiences, and adventures along the way as well as a place for others to communicate with us.
